Petrobras - "Curvas" - Vetor Zero
This advertise used one of my scripts, whose function is to create random values for any keyable attributes of any object. Then, at moments, it was applied to create an affect of shake, be it in tires, camera or any other object. Thus generating a stronger movement effect…

Animal Planet - Vetor Zero
In this short movie made for the Animal Planet television channel, the great challenge was the short deadline and the amount of characters that had to be done. Working together with the Rig staff, we've build one main Rig where, through scripts, I’ve automatized the construction process of it so that with only some clicks the character had its Rig created. Within this solution, we’ve save many and many days of work since we had more than 20 characters and many Rig’s to do!

Comfort - "Pet Shop" - Vetor Zero
Here we have an example of the Maya particles system being used to create a soap bubbles effect. It was needed for the job that the particles follow the deformation of the object, in this case, the dog. We’ve created a plugin for this, giving the artist a good control on the emission (with emission map), radius, offset, and thus obtaining the effect. We also created a way to free these particles off the dog when it was under water and let them floating on it, following the water deformation that was made in RealFlow.

Dupont - "Hi-sci" - Vetor Zero
This advertising was a great challenge, therefore in the beginning, nor the customer knows what he wanted and, in the end, everything was done and reached a very good result. Some tools had been developed by our R&D department in the process. I’ve created an effect using the Maya particles to generate curves and draw Paint Effects over them, using the advantage of particles dynamics. Also developed a script to copy and randomize animations, so the animator would need to animate only one object and than copy randomizing this animation for other objects!

Tim - "Minorias" - Vetor Zero
A great example of advertising made, almost all of it, with Maya particles and inside the R&D department, only at some moments it has some non procedural animation. We’ve made here a little more complex crowd system, using particles and its dynamics, instances, expressions, fields and goals. We’ve developed good techniques to work with goals and obtained an excellent result on this job where can be seeing on the QuickTime.

Coral - "Cor" - Vetor Zero
Using combinations of animated geometries, particles, expressions and ramps, we could create the final effect of this advertising where the roses open it selves forming a great carpet of red roses, needing from the animator just to animate a ramp in the scene to reach the desired appearance.

Unibanco - "Interrogacoes" - Vetor Zero
One more time was needed to develop a crowd solution for an infestation of interrogations. This time it was not based on Maya particles, however many expressions had been created and applied directly in the object, thus making that the animator only needed to animate the interrogation’s position and it automatically add the movements of the feet and as well as the movement of when they were stopped.

Toyota - "Kluger" - Vetor Zero
A beautiful advertising where was necessary to develop an easy to use tool that creates a building effect, for the animators. The tool was used in the effect where the road, for where the car is going, is constructing it self and in train tracks, that also go forming as the trains passes thru them… For booth effects, everything was basically made with particles for the instances positioning and ramps to drive the form and scale of these instances giving the animator a full and easy control of where he wanted to go.

Bubbaloo - "Volcan" - Vetor Zero
This project was where I started to develop a system where particles draw curves, used later to make pretty effects in another project (Dupont – Hi-sci). We had a liquid made in RealFlow where we needed to place same plates on it. I’ve used the particles generated in RealFlow, exported them to Maya and in set with expressions, I’ve generated the necessary curves in the surface of the liquid. Which later we attached the plates to and thus obtained the result that was necessary.

Mexicana - "Pterodactilo" - Vetor Zero
For this job, I've developed an easy and quick tool to generate render passes, from Maya to Renderman. At that moment, this tool was very necessary due the amount of passes that this job requires and the difficulty of rendering these passes.

Arno - "Pernilongo" - Vetor Zero
I’ve made for this project another crowd simulation but at this time, of mosquito! I’ve also used the Maya particles system, maps of emission, animated textures and expressions to make the sprites move and jump. It appears so lithe during the advertising but the result was really good.

Continente - "Leopoldina" - Vetor Zero
This was a great project developed for a supermarket of Portugal where some scenes was under water. In several of these scenes were necessary to do automatized shoals of fish that were easy to be placed in the scene. I’ve developed one script to make these shoals of fish using the Maya particle system, guided by expressions. This image on the left was the better one in my opinion.
